4,000 homes made warmer in Bradford South
Gerry is celebrating the work of the Warm Front Scheme in tackling fuel poverty in Bradford South and is urging more local residents to come forward and get help with measures that could cut their energy bills by anything up to £600 a year.

National award for Appleton Academy, Wyke
Gerry has written a letter of congratulations to pupils at Appleton Academy in Wyke after it was announced that they have won a national challenge to design and plan a National Handball Centre for the 2012 London Olympics.

Gerry under the spotlight
Gerry visited Dixons City Academy last Friday 5 March. He was invited to be the first interviewee in the school's new television studio. The room has been equipped to a standard to rival professional studios and will give pupils chance to experience life in a TV studio. Gerry was interviewed by two very competent presenters who had lots of interesting questions for him. Camera operators and technical operators were working behind the scenes and the end result was of a very high standard.

Gerry leads out Rugby Legends for Charity
Rugby stars past and present along with members of the local community came together in a charity touch rugby match at the Bradford Bulls Grattan stadium, and raised over £10,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (CFT).
